Along with the French National Solidarity Fund for Autonomy (CNSA), French Directorate for Research, Studies, Evaluation and Statistics (DREES), French Graduate School of Public Health (EHESP), Public Health Thematic Multi-Organization Institute (ITMO) and Health Technologies ITMO, the French Institute for Public Health Research (IReSP) is organizing a symposium entitled Disabilities: economic and social challenges - how research can contribute” at the French Ministry of Social Affairs and Health in Paris on October 9 and 10, 2013.
This symposium is free but online registration beforehand is mandatory.

5th annual meeting of the Health Technologies multi-organization thematic institute (ITMO)

The 5th annual meeting of the Health Technologies ITMO will be held in Bordeaux on April 10th and 11th, 2013, at the Congress Center on Place de la Bourse, in association with the national Research in Imaging and Health Technologies (RITS) symposium.
The 2013 meeting will focus on recent developments in the research landscape and the latest scientific and technical breakthroughs for the five main activity areas of imaging and health technologies. It will comprise two round tables devoted to "Technological Innovations for health: does the user feature in there somewhere?" and "Regulatory and legal aspects of research in health technologies" respectively.
Online registration is free but compulsory

The meeting will be held in Lille, Grand Palais, on October 8 and 9, 2012.
The research landscape and the latest scientific and technical breakthroughs for the Institute of Health Technologies' 5 major fields of activity will be the subject of these two days of meetings.
As every year, a poster session will give participants the chance to put forward new projects and to look for new partners.
