The mission of the The multi-organization theme institute (ITMO) on "Neurosciences, cognitive sciences, neurology, psychiatry" is to coordinate the activity of the members of the French National Alliance for Life and Health Sciences (Aviesan) in the field of neuroscience by increasing knowledge on how the nervous system functions and sense organs, on deficiencies, disorders and the diseases that affect them. It also has for purpose to encourage the perfecting of new treatments and to assist in the development of innovating technological and methodological approaches.
