On November 5 and 6, 2010, the French National Cancer Institute is organizing the "1st international forum of research prospects on cancer" at the Museum National d'Histoire Naturelle in Paris, in partnership with the French National Alliance for Life and Health Sciences. This event will provide an opportunity to discuss the research prospects in different relevant themes in prevention, diagnosis and therapy and their development over the next twenty years.
World-renowned researchers have accepted to run this forum over the two days:
Professor Sir Philip Cohen, Professor Jacques Pouyssegur and Professor Robert Weinberg.
This international forum will be introduced by a conference on the international burden of cancer over the next twenty years. This event will bring together scientists from academia, industry and biotechnologies, as well as representatives of organizations that fund cancer research in Europe.
