Jointly organized by the International Research Laboratories (LIR), French Pharmaceutical Companies Association (LEEM) and Circulation, Metabolism and Nutrition thematic multi-organization institute, the 2nd International Encounters of Biomedical Research focused on cardiovascular and metabolic diseases
Some fifteen French academic researchers presented examples of outstanding research work (heart, vessels, diabetes and obesity) to 50 representatives from the biggest pharmaceutical companies worldwide, including 3 French ones. To fight against these complex diseases, major public and private cooperation is now essential. Last year, the first International Encounters of Biomedical Research on neurosciences and Alzheimer’s disease was successful and marked a genuine turning point.
