CVT Aviesan, Bpifrance and the Réseau SATT: National Call for Expressions of Interest regarding medical devices

CVT Aviesan and its members Bpifrance and the Technology Transfer Acceleration Companies (Réseau SATT) have joined forces to launch a call for expressions of interest regarding innovative medical devices for the following sectors (excluding cancer and neurodegenerative diseases): dermatology, cardiovascular disease, endocrinology, liver and bile duct, lungs, digestive tract, uro-nephrology, bones and joints, nutrition and metabolism.

The partners in this initiative will share project feedback and analysis while maintaining confidentiality with respect to expressions of interest and discussions that take place while these are being processed. This Call for Expressions of Interest has several aims: to share a national overview, identify synergies and provide the capacity to monitor, support and fund projects in the field in close coordination with the teams.

In order to generate new partnerships, the partners are seeking to match the map of projects with any industrial and clinical needs expressed. Consequently, the initiative is taking place in two stages:

  • from 1st July 2015 with a view to feeding back projects, a call aimed at academic teams (research bodies or medical institutions) and manufacturers;
  • during the third quarter of 2015 with a view to feeding back needs, a call aimed at clinical teams and manufacturers.

If you are an academic team (research body or medical institution) or manufacturer and wish to submit a medical device project, visit the dedicated website.
Closing date for project submissions: Midnight on 26 October 2015
